In anticipation of the upcoming holiday season, the Iola Village Library has unveiled an exciting lineup of activities for November and December, turning the library into a hub of creativity and festive cheer.
Family Fridays will offer residents an opportunity to make giftable items from 2:30-4:30 p.m.
The dates and items are as follows: Nov. 3 Scarecrow Wreaths, Nov. 10 Painted Ornaments, Nov. 17 Salt Soaks and Scented Soaps, Nov. 24 Personalized Cookbooks, Dec. 1 Recipes in a Jar, Dec. 8 Painted Mugs, and Dec. 15 Stepping Stones.
On Nov. 14, the library is hosting a special event, ‘Come Craft With Us,’ from 5-6:30 p.m. Participants can unleash their creativity to create Fun Journals adorned with quotes, song lyrics, trivia, drawings, stickers, pictures, jokes, memories, and more. It promises to be an evening of artistic expression and communal crafting.
These events aim not only to provide an outlet for artistic expression but also to foster a sense of community during the holiday season. The library, with its commitment to accessibility, is transforming into a festive crafting haven for residents of Iola.
