  • Iola Conservation Club Notice: Effective for the next eight weeks, the rifle range will be closed on Sundays from 1-4 p.m. and Wednesday evenings due to safety reasons, as the high school trap team shoots.
  • King and Queen of the 2022 Adult Prom in Scandinavia are Thomas Ferg and Judy Bolier. Congratulations!
  • LittleWolf Gallery on Main Street in Iola will not be open on Tuesday, April 5, as it is preparing for the event this weekend.
  • All-Conference selections are in for Prep basketball. Iola-Scandinavia High School players that have received honors include: Boys – First Team, Parker Prahl and Brock Wester; Honorable Mention, Isaiah Hoyord and Will Tappa. Girls – First Team, Lillian Fuhs; Second Team, Jaelyn Sivertson. Prahl was also named Player of the Year. Congratulations to all!
  • The annual Easter Party for children through 3rd Grade will be held on Saturday, April 16, from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Iola-Scandinavia Elementary School. There will be games, prizes, egg hunt, and the Easter Bunny will be there.
