• Amanda Kyle-Quaschnick, a middle school and high school science teacher, will not be seeking a renewal of her contract for the 2022-23 year with the School District of Iola-Scandinavia.

• The Iola-Scandinavia School District will discuss on Monday, March 7, an increase to the certified staff base wage for starting year teacher from $38,850 to9 $40,000 for the 2022-23 school year. Credit pay is proposed to increase from $271.95 to $280 per credit. Co-Curricular Pay Rates (for coaches and advisors) is an increase to $4000 (total).
