- Last weekend at State middle school track last Saturday was a big day. Jensen Rice set new Wisconsin middle school state record in the 200-meter, came in second in the 100-meter hurdles and 6th in the triple jump. Congratulations!
- Iola Lions will host an American a Red Cross blood drive on Wednesday, June 8, at the Iola-Scandinavia Fitness and Aquatic Center. It will begin at noon and end at 5 p.m. Make an appointment by calling 1-800-733-2767.
- Softball standouts Makayla Much and Alexa Christoph of Iola-Scandinavia High School will play on June 14 in the Wisconsin High School Girls All-Star Softball Series, sponsored by the Wisconsin Fastpitch Coaches Association.
- There’s a new book on the StoryWalk® in Jorgens Park Preserve! You can read the Caldecott Medal winning story “Tuesday” by David Wiesner through June 14. When you’re done, be sure to stop by the library to sign up for our all-ages, “Oceans of Possibilities” summer reading program! - The Lady T-Birds Softball Team became Regional Champs on Thursday, May 26, defeating the Algoma Wolves 5-3 at home. Congratulations!
