- The 12th Annual Schmidt’s Corners Woodtick Tournament will be played on Saturday, Aug. 20, starting at 8 a.m. Team schedules: 8 a.m. Sewer Rats vs. Team Jose; 9 a.m. Silver Lake Lanes vs. Nail It; 10 a.m. Bear Lake Campground vs. Team Better Bats; 11 a.m. Schmidts Corners.
- This past Monday (Aug. 15), the Iola Lions held their annual Steak Fry at Wisconsin Lions Camp in Rosholt. It was their way to celebrate the past Lionistic year, the 2022 Iola Car Show and the start of a new year. Taking over the reins as president is Lion Jack Vater! There were over 60 Lions and guests. Tours of the Camp were taken before and after dinner.
