- Lisa Bauer has announced her retirement. She has been the Iola Village Library children program coordinator and has worked for the library for 27 years. She has successfully seen the growth oof the Preschool Story Time program. Stop by between now and April 15 to wish her well in retirement!
- Iola-Scandinavia Community & Aquatic Center has canceled the following classes on Monday, March 21, and Tuesday, March 22: Monday 8 a.m. Stretch and Tone, 9 a.m. Water Therapy, 5 p.m. Barre; Tuesday 9 a.m. Water Aerobics, 10:30 a.m. Strong Bones. Tuesday Deep Water Aerobics will still be in session. Classes will resume as normal starting Wednesday, March 23.
- Iola Lions will meet on Monday, March 21, at the Crystal Café with social hour starting at 6 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. There will be a Board meeting at 5:30 p.m. It is Lions Agri-Business Night with guest speaker White Valley Dairy.
