HOUSE FIRE: The residence of Keith and Hilda Matthes of Muskego, Wisconsin, on County Trunk GG was destroyed by fire at 1:25 a.m. on July 27. No one was at home. The cause of the fire is being investigated. Multiple fire departments, the sheriff’s department, and highway department aided in the call.

SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS: Jaelyn and Jayden Sivertson and Malea Tessen are recipients of a $425 Operation Round Up scholarship from Central Wisconsin Electric Cooperative.

MANAGER OF YEAR: Samone Ramos of Family Dollar in Iola has been named the 2023 Store Manager of the Year in Region 33, Zone 60. Congratulations!

MEETING DATE CHANGE: The Town of Helvetia has moved its regular monthly meeting to Tuesday, Aug. 8, at 7 p.m.
