HUNTING TREASURES: The Iola Conservation Club will host a one-day yard sale on Saturday, May 17. The gate will open at 8 a.m. to give everyone a full day to browse hunting, camping, fishing, archery, guns, and related treasures. Refreshments will be available.

 JORGENS PARK PRESERVE FUNDRAISER: Join “A Day on the Lake Fundraiser” at Jorgens Park Preserve in Scandinavia on Sunday, May 18, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Galynne Goodill will perform from noon to 1:30 p.m.

PTO PICNIC: On Friday, May 30, the year-end Iola-Scandinavia Elementary School will have the PTO Picnic. For lunch service, families of 4K students can come at any time. Other classes’ lunch times are as follows: Kindergarten 10:55 a.m., First Grade 11:05 a.m., Second Grade 11:15 p.m., Third Grade 11:30 p.m., Fourth Grade 11:40 p.m., Fifth Grade 11:50 P.M., and Sixth Grade noon.
