  • IOLA VILLAGE LIBRARY: The Iola Village Library has new book bags in a variety of design available for sale.
  • BOWLERS ON TO STATE: The Iola-Scandinavia Varsity Bowling Team has advanced to State competition. Congratulations and good luck in your competition!
  • IOLA LIONS: The Iola Lions Club will meet on Monday, Feb. 20, at the Cristal Café. Board meeting is at 5:30 p.m., social hour at 6 p.m., and dinner at 6:30 p.m. Guest speakers are Greg Loescher of the Iola-Scandinavia Chamber of Commerce and Mike Mazemke presenting a recap of the Iola Winter Carnival.
  • LADY T-BIRDS: The Lady Thunderbirds Varsity Basketball Team will host Tri-County on Tuesday, Feb. 21, in the opening round of WIAA Tournament play. The game begins at 7 p.m. The winner will advance to take on the winner of the Prentice/Almond-Bancroft game. The T-Birds are seeded fourth.
