Mary Lou Timdal

Mary Lou Timdal. Age 67, of Iola, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021, at ThedaCare Hospital in Neenah, Wisconsin.
Mary was born on Dec. 24, 1953, in Iola to the late Hanford and Leola (Pope) Timdal. She graduated from Iola-Scandinavia High School as a member of the class of 1972. Her favorite job was watching and taking care of people’s animals while they were away.
Mary was an avid supporter of Iola-Scandinavia High School and all of their sports teams. She attended as many games as possible regardless of having a family member on the team or not.
As an active member in the community of Iola, she volunteered as a member of the Iola Nursing Home board, was an election-day volunteer and was a supporter of the Iola Village Library. Mary was an excellent bowler and softball player. She enjoyed collecting golf balls and bobble heads. Most importantly, Mary loved spending time with her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and liked to go fishing, shopping and taking car rides with them.
Mary is survived by four siblings: Liz Timdal and her children Ben (Spouse, Jolene Sopa) Timdal and Sam Timdal, Linda (Scott) Garbe and their children Shawna (Antonia) Oliver and Andrea Garbe, Donnie Timdal and his children Peter (Delaney) Timdal, Missy (Kelly) Marquardt and Valerie (Kenny) Osinski, Bobby (Gloria) Timdal and their children Travis Timdal and Ashley (Cody) Butcher; niece Faye (Nathan Louison) Timdal; great-nieces and nephews Braiden, Khyla, Chloe, Kelden, Paige, Karter, Kasen, Chase, Nolan, Kinleigh and Cooper.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Patricia Timdal.
Funeral services for Mary will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 2, at Northland Lutheran Church in Iola. Pastor Dan Somers will officiate the service. The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday at the church from 11 a.m.– 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Waupaca County Human Society or any local humane society of your choice.
Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, is assisting the family with arrangements.
