Martha L. Cook

Martha L. Cook, Age 90, passed away on March 13, 2026.

She was born on Sept 27, 1935, the daughter of the late Russell and Electa (Jole) Nygaard.

Martha is survived by her daughters, Dawn (Cort) Martin of Soquel, California, Lori Gerard of Prineville, Oregon, and Gail Terry of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Cortney Dueul, Roxanne Handzlik, Heather Terry, Chloe Terry, Christopher and Raychel Gerard, and Dahlia Terry; and Special Friend, Bob Stamstad.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, William Cook, her parents and brother Stanley.

Martha was a member of the Nelsonville Lutheran Church, Sons of Norway, and Iola Historical Society, where she had been a volunteer since 1982. Martha enjoyed working with the quilting group and Alter guild.
