Mark R. Peskie

July 23, 1954 – November 27, 2025

Mark R. Peskie, 71, of Custer, Wisconsin, formerly of Iola and Waupaca, Wisconsin, died unexpectedly at home with his wife, Kathy, at his side on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025.

He was born on July 23, 1954, in Waupaca to the late Gerard and Carmen (Barton) Peskie. Mark married Kathleen (Trzebiatowski) Steines on June 10, 2004, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia, Wisconsin.

During his career as a mortician, he worked at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola.

The Funeral Mass for Mark will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia on Wednesday, Dec. 3,  at 11 a.m. with Fr. Mark Miller presiding. Visitation will be held at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola, Wisconsin, on Tuesday, Dec 2, from 3-6 p.m., followed by a Rosary Service at 6 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday at the church from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Polonia.

Instead of flowers, a memorial fund will be established at a later date, per the family’s wishes.
