
Lorretta Jean Stull
April 17, 1941 – April 27, 2025
Lorretta Jean Stull 84, of Iola, Wisconsin (formerly of the Town of New Hope in Portage County, Wisconsin, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, April 27, 2025. She resided at The Willows in Iola.
She was born on April 17, 1941, in the Town of New Hope, to the late William and Olive (Nelson) Clark. Lorretta attended grade school and high school in Iola. She married Lowell T. Stull and he preceded her in death in May of 1998.
Lorretta worked in housekeeping at the Iola Hospital and at various hotels in Stevens Point. She and her twin sister, Lorraine, would be seen together quite often. They traveled to town regularly and would be spotted many times at community events. They were good for each other and they both had a smile on their face when they saw someone they knew. Family was important to Lorretta and she always enjoyed a conversation; catching-up with one another’s daily routine. Lorretta enjoyed gardening, picking pickles, listening to polka music, working in her flower garden and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, William (Becky) Stull; brother, Robert (Mia) Clark; grandson William T. (Helen) Stull; great-grandsons, Hoyt Butterbaugh and Nathaniel Vitale; great-granddaughter Isabella Ciesielski; granddaughter, Kaitlyn (Nate) Yarie; and great-grand daughters, Kensley and Brinley Yarie. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Lorretta was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell; daughter, Carol J. Stull; twin sister, Lorraine Clark; and brother, Norman Clark.
A Memorial Service for Lorretta will be held at the Voie Funeral and Celebration of Life Center in Iola on Friday, May 9, at 1 p.m. Mr. Mark Shipman will officiate. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Voie’s.
