Lorraine J. Clark

April 17, 1941 – March 20, 2024

Lorraine J. Clark, 82, of Iola, Wisconsin, formerly of the Town of New Hope in Portage County, Wisconsin, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.  She resided at The Willows, in Iola.

She was born on April 17, 1941, in the Town of New Hope, to the late William and Olive (Nelson) Clark. 

Lorraine attended grade school and high school in Iola. After high school, Lorraine became a caretaker for her mother Olive.  She enjoyed growing flowers, vegetable gardening, attending polka dances, playing bingo & going to church. She was very social, always taking pictures & enjoyed time visiting with family & friends. Lorraine also had a fondness for animals. 

When it came time for her to move into The Willows, she was thankful that her twin sister Lorretta was her roommate. She enjoyed getting her hair and nails done and visiting with all the residents and family. She especially enjoyed her visits with her brother Bob when he would bring his dogs with him.

Lorraine was a caring and devoted daughter, sister, and aunt. She will be missed by all of her family and friends. 

She is survived by her twin sister, Lorretta Stull/Clark of Iola; brother, Robert (Mai) Clark of Amherst Junction; and several nieces and nephews.  
 She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Norman (Jean) Clark of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The Memorial Service for Lorraine will be held on Friday, April 19, at 1 p.m. at North New Hope Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael Peuse officiating. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.
