Entries for the Iola Lions Snow Melt Contest is Monday, April 6.

Cost of entries is $2 each or three for $5. If you pay $10 you get seven entries.

So far, the earliest date submitted is March 26 and the latest July 4.

The entry closest to the official melt date without going over will win. Winners receive 60 percent of the pot.
