On Wednesday, March 20, we made a request for a substitute judge after Judge Raymond Huber was assigned to our appeal. Today it was approved.

This decision was made after the (Waupaca) County’s attorneys filed a request to substitute Waupaca County Judge Vicki Clussman, leaving Judge Huber as the last available Waupaca County judge.

The appeal has not been reassigned at this point and we will update everyone when that happens.

In other news, the attorneys for Faulks Bros. filed a motion to intervene, joining Waupaca County’s attorneys and attorneys for the Waupaca County Planning and Zoning Committee in fighting this appeal. This was expected, but right now the only ones making money off the proposed Iola Car Show sand mine are the lawyers!
