Kristy Ann Madson
August 3, 1945 – May 18, 2024
Kristy Ann Madson, of Waupaca, Wisconsin, formerly of Amherst, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home on May 18, 2024.
Kristy was born to C. Francis and Mary Lou Bremmer on August 3, 1945, in Neenah, Wisconsin.
On June 27, 1973, she married David Lawrence Madson in Amherst. Together, they raised three children and shared many years of happiness and love.
Kristy enjoyed spending her time bowling, golfing, and playing softball, especially co-ed softball with her family. Kristy and David enjoyed many vacations, including many cruises with close friends.
Kristy worked as a dental assistant for 22 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Amherst, the Eagles Club in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and Glacier Wood Golf Course in Iola, Wisconsin. Her active involvement in these communities brought her great joy and numerous cherished friendships.
Kristy is survived by her loving husband David Madson of Waupaca; her children Tiffany (Steve) Erickson of Waupaca, Tara Clinton of Waupaca, and Ty (Leigh) Clinton of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin; her grandchildren Ashley (Jason Berrens) Johnson, Meghan (Max) Skyles, Tyler (Santos) Johnson, Payton (Chad) Gunderson, Sophia Clinton-Ragonese, Ethan Clinton-Ragonese, Olivia Clinton-Ragonese, and Ava Clinton-Ragonese; seven great-grandchildren; and her two brothers Scott Bremmer and Randall Bremmer, and many other loving relatives and friends.
Kristy was preceded in death by her parents C. Francis and Mary Lou Bremmer; her sister Kathy Stroik; her brother-in-law Thomas Stroik; her nephew Timothy Bremmer; and her niece Connie Kallevig.
A Celebration of Life for Kristy will be held at Silver Lake Lanes in Scandinavia on Saturday, June 15, at Noon. The family kindly asks for no gifts, but your presence and shared memories will be greatly appreciated.
