Results for the 2022 Iola Winter Carnival kid’s ice fishing contest this past Saturday, Feb. 5 on Lake Iola, have been announced by the Lake Iola Lake District.

A total of 129 youths participated, with their families.

Fish caught and mostly released included: 19 blue gill (biggest 8 inches), 3 crappie (biggest 8.75), 9 Northern (biggest 26.75), 5 perch (biggest 11), and no bass.
