Jillane Diane Fincher

July 9, 1949 – May 11, 2025

Jillane Diane Fincher, age 75, Peru, Town of New Hope, Portage County, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025.

She was born on July 9, 1949, in Webster, New York, to the late Lewis “Lew” and Mabel “May” (Short) Fincher.

While living in upstate New York she was an avid downhill skier. A fond memory of Jillane’s was sneaking out of the house at the age of 13 with some girlfriends to see the Beatles perform live.

She developed her interest in photography from her father and both were employed by Eastman Kodak company in Rochester.

She enjoyed traveling. She had a flare for decorating with natural elements, especially birch bark. Jillane was a fantastic pet mom and cared deeply for her birds and kitties.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Lana (Jack) Herrmann and Sheridan “Sherry” (Charles) Moulton; and her partner, Tom Boynton.

No formal services will be held for Jillane per her final wishes.
