Jacky “Jack” Franklin Sweeney

Jacky “Jack” Franklin Sweeney, age 86, of Waupaca, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022.

He was born on Jan. 10, 1936 in Menomonee, Wisconsin, to Myron and Hazel (McIntrye) Sweeney.

Jack attended parochial and graduated from public high school in Menomonee.

Jack married Janice Thompson on Sept 13, 1958, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She preceded him in death on July 17, 2000. He later married Juanita L. Robertson on Aug 26, 2006, at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca.
He served in the United States Army and worked at American Motors in Milwaukee. After moving his family to Waupaca, he worked for Pepsi and the Waupaca Foundry.

Jack enjoyed bowling, golfing and always looked forward to traveling up north, to go deer hunting at Catawba. He was an avid Packer, Brewer, and Badger fan.
Jack is survived by his wife Juanita Robertson and her family; his son Jay (Heidi) Sweeney; daughters Jacci (Mark) Olson, and Jennifer (Jon) Czerwinski; grandchildren Cody Sweeney, Trevor Sweeney and Parker (Kayla Habas) Sweeney, Katelyn Olson, Chelsea (John) Nicholas, Adam (Megan) Czerwinski and Meghan Czerwinski; great-grandchildren Stella Harvey, Hudson Nicholas and Archor Nicholas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Nona (Howard) Bodett; and brothers Lester (Jean) Sweeney and Jim (Doris) Sweeney.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Parfreyville United Methodist Church, N1979 County Road K in the Town of Dayton, Waupaca County, with Reverend Chris Oh, and Brenda Hewitt officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 9-10:45 a.m.

Interment will take place alongside Janice at the Crystal Lake Cemetery in the Town of Dayton.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to Parfreyville United Methodist Church.
