The Iola Police Department responded to 33 calls in the month of October.

Suspicious calls tallied 6, animal complaints 4, assist EMS 4, citizen/motorist assist 2, disorderly conduct 2, extra patrol 2. Others included the following with a call apiece: extra patrol request, found property, fraud, harassment, investigate person, lockout, traffic enforcement, traffic hazard, and welfare check.

Calls were up 13 from September.
