Community meeting seeks volunteers
The beloved Lutefisk Supper, a staple of the Iola Winter Carnival for many years, is making a potential comeback this winter! To ensure its successful return, organizers are calling on the community to lend a helping hand.
A special planning meeting will be held on Thursday, Oct. 10, at 6:30 p.m. in the basement of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. This meeting aims to gather volunteers for various tasks, from food preparation and setup to overall event coordination.
“Whether you’ve been part of the event in the past or are new to the Lutefisk Dinner experience, we welcome anyone who’s willing to lend a hand,” said event organizers. “Every little bit helps, and your support is what makes these community traditions possible!”
