Key Issues on the Agenda for June 11
The Iola Village Board will convene on Tuesday, June 11, at 5:30 p.m. in the Iola Village Hall Community Room.
The meeting will begin with the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call, followed by a transition into a closed session. During this session, board members will confer with legal counsel regarding strategies related to ongoing or potential litigation. Once the closed session concludes, the board will resume its open session to address a comprehensive agenda.
Old or Unfinished Business

Specifically, Resolution 2024-5 will introduce elements of Wis. Stats §23.33 and Wis. Admin. Code ch NR 64, while Resolution 2024-6 will address prohibitions on intoxicated operation and modifications to exhaust systems.
Additionally, the board will review an estimate and timeline for landscaping the front of the Village Hall, a project proposed by Kellan as part of an Eagle Scout initiative.
New Business
Among the new business items, Jim Christoph will present on the topic of E-Bikes within the village. The board will also acknowledge contributions from Rob and Darlene Kriewaldt for providing a truck for the sign display at Adams and State Street, and from Joe Opperman and the Iola Old Car Show Inc. for their efforts on the same sign project.
