Today the T-Bird Spotlight is on Todd Snyder.
Todd Snyder is married to Carrie. They have three children Brady (23), Carter (20), and Cierra (18). They have a dog named Gretzky and a cat named Teddy. Todd has one sister, Bonnie.
Todd graduated from Barron High School.
He has a Bachelors of Science in Physics, Psychology, Math from UW-Eau Claire, and a Masters of Education in Educational Technology from Marion College.
He chose to work in a school because “[I] Always liked school … guess I never really wanted to graduate.”
He has traveled to most of the states in the U.S. He’s been to Canada, Mexico, and this summer Dominican Republic.
Some of his hobbies include golfing in the woods and fishing for weeds.
Todd was an officer in the Iola Fire Department and is still certified as an AEMT for Iola Ambulance but hasn’t been active with them for a while.
His goal is to “continue being happy doing what I do.”
Todd lists his greatest accomplishment as “Getting our three kids through high school without losing all of my hair – still have a little left.”
Something you may not know about Todd is he grew up in the turkey capital of the Midwest – Barron. He was in the Army National Guards as an infantry squad leader and leadership instructor for 10 years.
On weekends he watches his kids play sports.
He coaches football and track.
His favorite sports teams are Packers, Brewers, and Blackhawks.
When it comes to music “there is really only one group out there… AC/DC.”
His favorite movie is Tommy Boy.
