Karina is married to her husband, Logan. She has a brother, Kristian, and a cat, Jubilee.

Karina graduated from Iola-Scandinavia High School. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Minors in Spanish and Teaching English Language Learners from UW–SP.

Her furthest road trip was to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Karina is a private swim lesson instructor, lifeguard, and building supervisor at the Iola-Scandinavia Community Fitness and Aquatic Center.

Karina is the head JV Girls Basketball coach.
