Diane Pedersen has three siblings and two cats, named Groucho Marxie and Orange Peel.
Diane graduated from Iola-Scandinavia High School. She has a B.S. in Music Education from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and Masters in Music Therapy, Counseling Psychology from The Naropa Institute in Boulder, Colorado.
Diane chose to work in a school because “I enjoy working with food and being around the students.”
She has traveled to Hawaii, Jamaica, California, Colorado, and most of the Midwest.
Some of her hobbies include playing in a Classic Rock Band, Gourmet Cooking, and exploring old-fashioned supper clubs in Wisconsin.
She currently works at Living Oaks Assisted Living, Wildflowers Cafe in King, and she teaches piano.
Her goal is to create healthy, nutritious meals that the students haven’t had before.
She lists her greatest accomplishment as getting her Master’s Degrees.
Something you may not know about her is she played with BB Kings’ youngest daughter in an R&B band when she lived in California. She also auditioned for the Comedy Team “Sweet Lips”.
On weekends, she likes to explore different supper clubs in the area and practice music.
Her favorite sports teams are Packers and Baltimore Ravens. She enjoys almost every kind of music. Her favorite book is Jesus Calling by Sarah Young and her favorite movie is Overboard.
Thank you Diane for all that you do!
