Quarterly Recognition Showcases Students’ Academic Excellence

Iola-Scandinavia High School has announced the criteria for its honor roll, celebrating the academic achievements of students for the 2025-26 school year. The honor roll serves as a testament to students’ dedication and the school’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence.

The honor roll is awarded quarterly, with high school students recognized in three distinct categories according to their grade point average (GPA) and overall grades:

  • High Honors: Students must achieve a GPA between 3.65 and 4.0 and have no grades of C, D, F, or Incomplete (I).
  • Honors: Students with a GPA ranging from 3.001 to 3.649 are eligible, provided they have no grades of D, F, or Incomplete (I).
  • Honorable Mention: This category recognizes students who earn a GPA of exactly 3.0, with no grades of F or Incomplete (I).

The school’s quarterly honor roll aims to encourage and applaud students for their hard work and scholastic dedication throughout the academic year.
