- Car theft update: On Saturday, July 9 at 5:45 p.m., the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a stolen vehicle that was purchased at the Iola Car Show. The vehicle was described as a black 1968 Ford Mustang with white C-Stripes. On July 18, that vehicle was recovered in Green Bay when an owner of a business saw the vehicle near his property. The business owner called it in and Green Bay Police Department responded to the scene. After a check of the Vehicle Identification Number, it was determined this was the stolen vehicle from Iola. This incident remains under investigation.
