- The Corner Bar in Iola has been sold. The new moniker for the established will be 10LA.
- Susan Lynn Kopecky, age 37, of Iola, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. She was born on Oct. 23, 1984 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, to Jennifer Fleury and the late David Kopecky. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
- A Red Cross Blood Drive, sponsored by the Iola Lions Club, will take place on Wednesday, March 30, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Iola-Scandinavia Fitness and Aquatic Center.
