A local club’s philanthropy touches many lives in 2025

The Iola Norsemen Snowmobile Club proves that its commitment to the community goes far beyond grooming trails. In 2025, the club’s impact was felt across the region as they disbursed an impressive $19,935 in donations to a wide array of local groups and individuals.
The secret behind their generosity is a combination of active fundraising and volunteer spirit. The club’s annual gun raffle and its members’ dedication to volunteering at the Iola Car Show generate the funds that fuel their giving. As the club’s website notes, “The Iola Norsemen Snowmobile Club is an active community-minded snowmobile club…which allows the club to make donations to support local recipients.” This spirit of giving extends to a diverse range of organizations and causes, including essential services such as the Iola Fire Department and the Iola Nursing Home, as well as scholarships, historical societies, and events that bring the community together.

Their work, along with that of all club members, ensures the Iola Norsemen Snowmobile Club remains a driving force for good in the area.
