Memorial Day Services for Iola will take place at Veterans Memorial Park, downtown Iola, with the parade starting at 11 a.m. and service to follow.

Featured speaker is Waupaca County Veterans Service Officer Jesse Cuff.

New names added to the Memoriam Monument count 27, and five Gold Star names will be added to the Gold Star Recipient Monument.

Following the service, there will be a Pork Roast Luncheon at the Iola Historical Society’s Machine Shed on Depot Street. Veterans eat free.

Prior to the Iola event, there will be honors at the old bridge in the Village of Scandinavia at 10 a.m. and the Scandinavia Cemetery at 10:15 a.m.
