The Iola Historical Society will have its October meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 1, due to Halloween being on Monday, Oct. 31.

The board meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in the society’s Machine Shed.

The membership meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Business items to be taken up include the 2023 budget and board and officer elections.

At 7 p.m. the program will be on archived U.S. military uniforms which the society has. It will be presented by George Cuhaj.

The Christmas Banquet will be held on Monday, Dec. 5, at 5:30 p.m. at The Millstone.

Next society meeting will be on Jan. 30, 2023.
