The Iola Historical Society will meet on Tuesday, May 31, due to Monday being a holiday.

The group will have its business meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the Machine Shed followed by a membership meeting at 6:30 p.m.

Business topics to be discussed include summer projects review and planning. A program yet to be determined will be presented.

On Memorial Day, the group will host its Veterans Pork Feed from noon-2 p.m. Veterans eat free, adults are $12 each, and children under 12 years are $6 each.

On June 4, the group will unveil a new historical marker at Riverside Cemetery at 10 a.m.
