The Iola Historical Society will hold its business and membership meetings on Monday, Aug. 30, in the Machine Shed, 222 Depot Street.

The business meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. and be followed with the membership meeting and program at 6:30 p.m.

Business for the meeting includes Looking Ahead, Taste of Norway & Lost Arts Fair, Time to Get All Our Ducks in a Row.

The program will feature Don Faldet sharing reflections on his family’s connection with Iola’s potato heritage and its generational ties to farming traditions. Refreshments will follow the presentation.

There will be social distancing observed and hand sanitizer is available.
