The Iola Historical Society will set the stage for an engaging evening on Monday, April 28, as it hosts its monthly meetings at the Machine Shed, 222 Depot Street, Iola.

Beginning with a board meeting at 5:30 p.m., followed by the general membership meeting at 6:30 p.m., the evening will culminate in a unique and interactive program starting at 7 p.m. — “Enjoy a Mystery Evening at the Iola Historical Society.” Members are encouraged to bring an item to share, promising a night of discovery and community connection.

The evening’s program is designed to foster curiosity and storytelling among members. With no one knowing what will be brought or shared, the society aims to create a nostalgic and fun atmosphere that ties personal history to local heritage.
