William “Bill” Lund will speak before the Iola Historical Society on Tuesday, May 30, at 7 p.m., in thew Machine Shed at 222 Depot Street.

He will display radio-controlled model boats and talk about the famed World War II era U.S. ships they represent.

The IHSD board will meet at 5:30 p.m. and the membership at 6:30 p.m. There will be a review of the Salute to Veterans and planning for Strawberry Fest.
