A Town of Scandinavia Plan Commission meeting will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 5 p.m. in the Scandinavia Municipal Center to discuss a conditional use application by the Iola Old Car Show Inc. to allow for 24 seasonal campsites and to allow for transient campsites.

The area off Johnson Road is already used for camping during the annual car show.

Seasonal camping is defined as, “Renting a long-term space at a campground and leaving your RV there even when you aren’t using it is known as seasonal camping.” In North America, it begins at the end of May and then tapers off towards September or October.
