The Iola Car Show is seeking interest from qualified candidates who’d like to start their own sign production business in Iola. The Iola Car Show operates out of the former Krause Publications building on the Iola Car Show Grounds which is an approximately 80,000 square foot facility. Iola Car Show office operations currently occupy only a fraction of the space used by the former publications company, and they’d like to see some of that space be put to practical modern use.
“We’re interested in providing resources to help incubate a new business, and we’re specifically looking for an experienced, qualified sign production specialist or team who’d like to start their entrepreneurial journey,” says Executive Director Joe Opperman. “We have a need for this service, and we believe there is great need in the market. We’d like to help provide the resources to get things off the ground.”
Along with the physical office space, Iola is interested helping to provide the equipment necessary to outfit the space for production. Ideal candidates would have experience in designing, producing and installing large and small signs, banners and vehicle graphics. They should be interested and knowledgeable in general business operations and have a desire to run their own business.
Interested candidates should express their interest by emailing information@iolaoldcarshow.com.
