The Iola Historical Society will hear about 50 years of the Iola Car Show at its membership meeting on Monday, April 25, at 6:30 p.m.

The society meets at the Machine Shed at 222 Depot Street, Iola.

Prior to the membership meeting, the board meets at 5:30 p.m. Business items include finalizing the Memorial Day “Salute to Veterans”, summer planning, and Saturday visitor days.

At 6:30 p.m., Clifford Mishler will offer a nostalgic look back to the origins of the Iola Old Car Show.

A spring-cleaning day has been scheduled for Thursday, April 28, starting at 9 a.m.
