The fall Hunter Education course will start with registration on Thursday, Sept. 12, from 7-8 p.m. at the Iola Conservation Club.

The Iola Conservation Club invites everyone interested in Hunting – recreational shooting, archery, and firearms safety, to enroll in the course.

Classes will cover hunters’ responsibilities, firearms safety in the home and afield, knowledge of firearms and hunting equipment, tree stand safety, wildlife identification and management, marksmanship, and outdoor skills. The class will be limited to 30 students. Hunter Education is taught at a 6th-grade reading level and is open to all ages.
