How the Penguins Saved Christmas performance Dec. 11

By Ms. Casey Daniels

It is with great pride and great pleasure that the Kindergarten through Third Grade Students of Iola-Scandinavia Elementary School invites you to attend the upcoming musical presentation entitled: “How the Penguins Saved Christmas” on Dec. 11 at 1:30 p.m. in the high school gym.

We have always had such amazing support from our community, so I am pleased to say our performance will once again take place in the high school gym so we can fit everyone!  Please help spread the word to all that may be joining us! Your children have worked very hard in preparation for this performance and feel a great deal of satisfaction and ownership in it. Please join us, as these young musicians want to share their talents with family, friends, and community. This is certain to be an event you won’t want to miss!

If there are any parents out there willing to assist with the preparation, please contact me at danielsonc@iola.k12.wi.us or 715-445-2411 ext. 1219.  Thanks!

The K-3 Christmas event is an exciting program that helps show that you can do anything with the help of others even if you don’t remember who you are!

There will be no admission fee, but we will be accepting free will donations for the Elementary Music Fund to help purchase props, costumes, and equipment for programs like the ones you will see used the day of the program.  We are hoping to put our extra funds toward additional instruments and materials for the music classroom.  Thank you for all you can contribute!

Please feel free to email me (danielsonc@iola.k12.wi.us) or call the school at 715-445-2411 ext. 1219 if you have any questions.
