The Town of Helvetia Board will convene for its regular meeting on Tuesday,  Jan. 6, at 7 p.m. at the Helvetia Town Hall. Board members and township officials will address key agenda items, including comprehensive planning, land sale, financial matters, Town Hall project updates, and road maintenance.

Board members are expected to review and approve the minutes from the previous meeting, examine current bills for payment, and consider the Treasurer’s financial report.

The board will continue its discussion regarding the comprehensive planning initiative. The review aims to refine long-term community development strategies and address local land use planning.

Board members will deliberate on the potential sale of Helvetia parcel #08 36 24 5, located near Campbell Lake Road.

The agenda includes approval of Wisconsin Towns Association (WTA) dues and scheduling of the township’s annual audit.

Updates and decisions regarding ongoing Town Hall improvements will be addressed. Specific items include the replacement of ceiling tiles, upgrades to the shelter’s ceiling, and the procurement of new tables.

The board will review current snow plowing operations and receive a report from Chad Bestul.

Planning Committee Chair Gary Prill is scheduled to provide an update on the committee’s activities and progress on local plans.

The meeting agenda reserves time for residents to address the board with comments or concerns. This segment ensures that community voices are heard and considered in town decision-making processes.
