Harvey M. Colrue Jr.

August 19, 1931 – January 27, 2022

Harvey M. Colrue Jr. was called home on Jan. 27, 2022.

He was born Aug. 19, 1931, to Harvey M. Sr. and Pearl (Nagreen) Colrue in Ogdensburg, Wisconsin. He grew up on the Colrue farm on Colrue Road moving to his Uncle Walter’s farm in Iola in 1976 after Uncle Walter’s passing.

Harvey was born to the Lord and returned in spirit full circle. A man of simple means who lived life with true light. Our family takes great comfort knowing he is home and reunited with mom.

Harvey is survived by his children John (Pamela) Colrue, Jerome (Fiona) Colrue, and June Colrue; grandchildren Andrew Colrue, Christina Colrue, Haley Colrue, Brandi VanDyke, Brianna VanDyke, and Brittani VanDyke; sister Clara Dehn; sister-in-law Helen Reiter; and many nieces and nephews.

Harvey was welcomed into Heaven by his wife of 61 years, Priscilla, who preceded him in death on Dec. 7, 2021; parents Harvey Sr. and Pearl; aunt Nabel Colrue; Uncle Walter Colrue; sister-in-law Patricia Hansen; and brothers-in-law Robert Hansen, Richard Reiter, and Kenneth Dehn.

It’s hard to turn the page when you know they will not be in the next chapter but the story must go on. Happy casting Dad.
