
The Town of Harrison Board gathered for its regular monthly meeting on Monday, March 10, at Northland Church. During the meeting, the board reviewed the town’s financial report. Treasurer Fran Moen reported that the town’s checking account had a beginning balance of $650,842.16 on February 1. Deposits for the month totaled $56,608.47, while expenditures reached $508,238.20, leaving a final balance of $199,212.43 as of February 28.
Additionally, the town’s Money Market account, which started the month with $122,445.85, accrued $14.09 in interest, bringing the total balance to $122,459.94. The board acknowledged the report and discussed the town’s ongoing financial stability.
Annual Meeting April 15
One of the significant actions taken at the meeting was confirming the date and location for the Town of Harrison’s Annual Meeting. The board announced that it will be held at Northland Church on Tuesday, April 15, at 6 p.m. Residents are encouraged to attend to discuss town matters and upcoming projects.
The board also reviewed and discussed various calls received from residents throughout the past month. Concerns ranged from road maintenance to local service issues. While no specific actions were taken during the meeting, board members noted the issues raised and agreed to address them as necessary in future meetings.
