
The Town of Harrison Board, including Chairman Dean Lashua and members Mike Schultz, John Phillips, Carrie Powell, Brandon Schuster, Arnie Kaminski, Kyle Fischer and Megan Guzman, approved two land surveys and handled routine financial and administrative matters during its regular monthly meeting on Monday, Jan. 12, at Northland Church, ensuring compliance with local governance requirements and addressing community needs.
The meeting began at 6:30 p.m. with Lashua calling it to order. The board reviewed and accepted the clerk’s minutes from the previous meeting following a motion by Mike Schultz, seconded by John Phillips, which carried unanimously.
The treasurer presented a financial report showing a starting general fund balance of $78,168.54 on Dec. 1, 2025, with deposits of $455,619.57 and expenses of $31,300.26, resulting in an ending balance of $502,487.85 on Dec. 31, 2025.
The money market account started at $122,597.40, earned $17.86 in interest, received a $15,000 deposit, and ended at $137,615.26.
No old business was addressed.
Under new business, the board approved the Gerald Ort, Jr. Survey on a motion by John Phillips, seconded by Mike Schultz, which carried.
The board then approved the Bob Kasson Survey on a motion by Mike Schultz, seconded by John Phillips, which carried. Board members discussed calls and concerns received during the month.
