A fruit basket weaving class will be held on Saturday, Jan. 8, beginning at 9 a.m. and lasting until 3 p.m. at Lessons from the Art in Iola.

This fruit basket starts out on a hexagon base and forms into a round basket. In this basket class you will learn basic basket weaving – how to prepare your material, measuring, marking, start stop weaving, triple twining and rimming. The basket is 7 inches tall.

Cost of the course is $35 and beginners are welcome!
