  • PARKS DECLINES TO RUN: After eight years on the Iola Village Board, Pam Parks is declining to run for office. She has served since her appointment in 2015 and has chaired several committees during her tenure. She intends to stay active in the Iola community with parks and recreation and with the children’s library program.
  • PANTRY DONATION: The Iola & Rural Fire Department recently donated funds to support the Iola Food Pantry. Thank you!
  • BOOK OF THE MONTH: The Scandinavia Public Library’s Book of the Month is “America’s First Daughter” by Stephanie Dray and Laura Kamoie. To reserve your copy of the book contact the library at 715-467-4636.
  • IOLA LIONS BLOOD DRIVE: Over 44 pints were collected during the recently Iola Lions Blood Drive, which was coordinated by Said Moore. Thanks to all who donated!
