- LITTLEWOLF GALLERY: The Expresso machine is back up and running!
- MEMORIAL DAY: Memorial Day Activities: Old Bride west of Ellison Park in Scandinavia, 10 a.m.; Iola parade, 11 a.m. followed by ceremonies at Veterans Memorial Park with keynote speaker Dan Naylor. Following Iola ceremonies, free lunch for veterans at Iola Historical Society’s Machine Shed.
- HAPPY DAAZE: Jo Jo Mork has sold the Little Norway tavern to Chip Wasrud and Jeremy and Julie Leitzke, who will operate it as Happy Daaze. Mork had been the owner for 28 years. Happy Daaze will be closed Mondays and open at noon on Sunday. Other days it will open at 11 a.m.
- BRAT FRY: The Iola Lions will have a brat fry on Saturday, May 27, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Iola Sentry Foods. Proceeds go towards the Iola-Scandinavia Chamber of Commerce Fireworks Fund.
- LADY T-BIRDS: The Iola-Scandinavia High School varsity softball team is a four-time repeat Conference Champion. Congratulations!
