STORYWALK: Celebrate the end of summer with a visit to the StoryWalk® in Jorgens Park Preserve! Now on the StoryWalk® is “How the Dinosaurs Went Extinct: A Safety Guide” by Ame Dyckman with illustrations by Jennifer Harney, a hilarious faux-cautionary tale featuring dad jokes and tantrum-throwing dinosaurs. This story will be available to read for only about three weeks, so visit soon.

BEER BLUES: There has been very little to toast locally, with 11 craft breweries in Wisconsin closing over the past year, nearly half of those in metro Milwaukee. The closings reflect a nationwide saturation in an industry experts say has matured. State brewers have taken a hit over the past six months after the Canadian government ordered a boycott of American beer, wine, and liquor. Read the Badger Institute story here.
