SUMMER SCHOOL: Looking for a way to keep your child engaged, learning, and having fun this summer? Summer School is the answer! It provides structure, enrichment, and excitement — helping students stay on track while exploring new interests in a supportive environment.

IOLA VIKING MARKET: Takes place on Saturday, May 17, at Iola Mills, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Come and experience Viking era crafts and music with the Wisconsin River Ravens. WISCONSIN FARM TECH DAYS: August 5-7 will see Farm Technology Days returned to the Bear Creek area at Clinton Farms on State Highway 22. The Wisconsin Farm Progress Days Board of Directors decided to return the event to Waupaca County for the 25th show. Read the Wisconsin State Farmer article here.

POSTPARTUM CARE: The Wisconsin Senate passed a bill to expand access to health care for postpartum mothers on Tuesday, April 22. The Senate, for a second time since the last session, passed a bill that would extend Medicaid coverage for postpartum mothers in Wisconsin from 60 days to a full year after childbirth. The measure received almost unanimous support, passing 32-1. Read the Wisconsin Examiner story here.
ABORTION RIGHTS BILL: Wisconsin Democrats have introduced a bill that would do away with restrictions on abortion in Wisconsin, including repealing a Civil War-era law long interpreted as banning abortion in the state. Read the Wisconsin Public Radio story here.
